This Privacy Policy explains how Apporola Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “TurboChargeWP”) handles information in connection with the TurboChargeWP plugin and its associated cloud services (together, the “Service”).
TurboChargeWP is a website performance tool. Most of its work happens locally on your own web server. A limited set of technical information is transmitted to our cloud endpoints only to deliver optimization, licensing, updates, product analytics, and support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary to operate the Service.
For personal data that may appear within the content of your website (for example, information you publish on your pages), you are the data controller and we act only as a processor / service provider that processes such content on your instruction to perform optimization. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that content, for maintaining your own privacy notice, and for obtaining any consents required from your visitors.
For the limited account, licensing, and product-operations data that we collect directly from you as our customer, we act as a controller for the purposes described in this Policy.
The categories below describe what the Service may process, depending on which features you enable. Where a feature is optional or off by default, it processes nothing until you enable and configure it.
Cached page files, generated image variants, and self-hosted assets, stored under your wp-content directory. Your plugin settings and operational bookkeeping. This data stays on your hosting environment and is not sent to us.
To optimize a page, the plugin sends that page’s HTML markup and URL to our optimization worker at cache-build time, which returns an optimized copy. This occurs in the background when a cached page is built or rebuilt — not on an individual visitor’s page view. The markup is the published content of the page as your server renders it.
You are responsible for ensuring that pages you choose to optimize do not contain personal data you are not authorized to process. You can exclude specific pages from caching/optimization in the plugin settings.

Where enabled, the plugin may transmit aggregate, anonymous performance measurements collected from real page loads — such as Core Web Vitals timings (e.g., loading, layout-stability, and interaction metrics), the page path, and a broad device category. These measurements are used to display performance information and to improve the Service. They are not intended to, and are not designed to, identify any individual visitor, and we do not associate them with names, email addresses, or account identifiers.
If you use the in-plugin support feature (available to licensed users), the plugin attaches technical diagnostics — your settings, plugin status, and server/environment information only — to help resolve your issue. Page content is not included.
On activation and deactivation, the plugin may send a small event containing your site domain and version numbers, and — only if you previously opted in — the email address you provided. This helps us understand aggregate usage and, for opted-in users, provide relevant information. No website-visitor data is included. Until an endpoint is configured in a given build, this data does not leave your site.
Where required, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide licensing, updates, and support you request); legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to prevent misuse, balanced against your rights); and consent (for optional communications and any optional data you choose to provide). You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.
We host and operate our cloud endpoints using reputable infrastructure and service providers engaged to process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms. We do not authorize them to use the data for their own purposes. A current list of key sub-processors is available on request at contact [at] apporola.com.
Our infrastructure may be located in, and data may be processed in, countries other than yours. Where such transfers are subject to data-protection law, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (such as recognized adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) as applicable.
We retain licensing and account records for as long as your license is active and thereafter for the period reasonably necessary for our legitimate business, legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Aggregate/anonymous performance measurements may be retained without a fixed time limit because they are not linked to an identifiable individual. Locally stored cache and image files are managed by the plugin on your server and are removed when you clear the cache, reset, or uninstall the plugin.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the information we process, appropriate to its nature and the risk involved. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the security of your own hosting environment, credentials, and website.
The Service is a tool for website operators and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights regarding data we hold about you as our customer, contact us at contact [at] apporola.com. Where your request concerns personal data of your own website’s visitors, that request should be directed to you as the responsible party; we will provide reasonable assistance to you as your processor where required by law.
You are responsible for: maintaining your own privacy notice to your visitors; obtaining any consents (for example, for performance/analytics measurement) required in your jurisdiction; configuring the plugin (including page exclusions) appropriately for your content; and complying with all laws applicable to your website and its data. The Service is a tool you control; your configuration and content choices are your responsibility.
Your website may include other plugins, themes, hosting, CDNs, or services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third parties. This Policy covers only the Service described above.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be indicated by updating that date and, where appropriate, by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and this Policy are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in this Policy creates any warranty or contractual commitment beyond what is set out in our applicable Terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss arising from your configuration, your content, your hosting environment, or third-party services, in connection with the matters described in this Policy. Our aggregate liability, if any, shall be limited as set out in our Terms.
